Light Lens is an educational and reflective model designed to support children in understanding identity, experience, and emotional signals through accessible metaphor.

 Light Lens:  
- Is not therapy, psychotherapy, counselling, or medical advice.  
- Is not a diagnostic tool.  
- Does not replace safeguarding procedures, clinical intervention, or professional supervision.  
- Should not be used as a standalone response to trauma, abuse disclosure, or mental health crisis.  

Adults choosing to use Light Lens:  
- Remain fully responsible for safeguarding within their setting.  
- Must operate within their professional training, scope of practice, and local legal requirements.  
- Should seek appropriate supervision or referral pathways where needed.  

Light Lens is intended to complement — not replace — existing systems of care, education, and support.  

The model is designed to be adapted thoughtfully within cultural context.
Responsibility for local implementation remains with the individual or organisation applying it.
